Rwanda or Bust!

As you loyal readers (all 12 of you) may know, this Friday I am off to Rwanda.

I leave at 6:30 am on Friday with the 10 other members of the Future Leaders Program and will spend about 17 hours in transit before landing in Kigali, Rwanda.

We’re going to work with an awesome organization called World Relief who works primarily with local churches on things like AIDS prevention, Child-survival and other humanitarian aid.

I’m not quite sure what to expect, but I’m eagerly anticipating all that God is going to do over the trip.

I’ll be posting infrequently to this blog, but I’ll be posting regularly to the Future Leaders Blog, so be sure to check that regularly!

[Update: I'll be in Rwanda until the 18th, and you can click on the link to the side of the page to view the Future Leaders Blog!]

Hey Ryan…. What an opportunity and experience!!!
Your mom is so proud of you and I look forward also to hearing about your trip. Consider daily what God wants you to get out of each day and every encounter. You will be amazed at how He can and will talk to you in all things.
You and your group are in my prayers for His will to be met in this trip. You return on my son’s birthday… he’s at Gordon college. :-)
