I’m on a roll! I love creating these fan pages on Facebook, since they’re pretty unique, and honestly they’re kind of fun.
Anyhow, I created one for Frontline Silver Spring the other day.
Frontline Silver Spring is doing a great job right on the outskirts of DC in one of the cooler areas in the Metro area. Seriously, if you haven’t been down there, you OWE it to yourself to check it out. And while you’re there, check out Sabrosa, this little Peruvian grill right across from the Round House Theatre (where we hold Frontline Silver Spring).
But I digress…This was a pretty simple page to create, and it’s got a fun trick: an embedded video.
Most of the video you see on facebook fan pages link to a video hosted elsewhere, but with a little bit of FBML (facebook markup language) you can actually semi-embed video. You have to insert an image that people will click on, but then after they’ve clicked on it the video will be right there.
Anyhow, go check it out. www.facebook.com/frontlinesilverspring
Note: If you’re already a fan, you’ll have to click the Welcome tab. Facebook won’t let you default to a non-wall page for people who are already fans

UPDATE: I felt so inspired that I went ahead and created one for the Prince William Campus as well… check it out at www.facebook.com/frontlineprincewilliam.
